How many comics do you have? |

I used to have quite a bit, but I got rid of all of them, except for the Superman and Flash ones.
I have probably around 500-600 Superman comics and 100 Flash comics, or so. Hopefully I'll keep them for my kid(s) to read when the time comes. |

you never see them in many shops in the UK. I went to comic stores in brum, but there were so many, I got confused as where to start. I just buy the graphic novels. Been collecting since the mid 90s and have about 30 of them now. It's rare I see them in the shops. I do enjoy my graphic novels

What happened to that "Supergirl" character? What happened to her when "Lex Jnr" got rumbled?
Where is happersen btw?? He is not in those new graphic novels I bought. Problem with just G.novels is that there are lots of blanks between stories. |

I only have like 150 of them stashed in a box. I only bought Superman comics, and I usually read the comics in the comic shop instead of going out and buying it. The comic guy didn't care.

Over 10,000 comics all bagged and with acid-proof backing boards and in 39 boxes

I'd have more, but I sold a lot of my old ones like some of my GI Joe, and TF comics. Sidney Happersen is dead I think,I want to say he died during "The Fall of Metropolis." With Supergirl, When Peter David startd the book he tried to bring back some silver age elements. Supergirl/Matrix encountered a dying girl named Linda Danvers and bonded with her. They are now one person, but Supergirl lost some powers in the process, her mental powers I think. Somwhere down the line she became an "Earthborn Angel" and has wings of fire coming out of her back.

I got about 7,000 comics--and like Zod, bagged and sealed. I'm buying about 5 comics a week, on an average, so it'll keep growing!!
Last year I gave some of my collection to my younger brother, because he'd keep going into my collection spending hours in there, reading them. So I gave him stuff that I don't really care about anyway, just to be a good big sister and to give him something of his own to read. .

Hi,
Don't know how many but I can't say that it's over 1000 - maybe near 1000. I did have a mighty big collection but sold most of it for peanuts as a kid. Today I only buy specific stuff - costly - but nice things. I buy all of the Superman archives, am missing 2 action comics archive, have the Supergirl archive, marvel essentials, any interesting or special... Friend. "SIV - you'll believe Superman has a new foe - greedy producers" |

I'd have more, but I've really slowed down in my collecting in the last 2 or 3 years. Now I pick up some comics once every 2 or 3 months, used to buy them at least once a week. Stopped buying all Marvel comics about 5 years ago, now I only get DC. I just got tired of Marvel's mid-90's bullsh*t. Spider-man's clone showed up and it was "revealed" that the Spidey people had been reading about for 20 years was a fake. Professor X was killed and it altered reality, creaing "The Age of Apocalypse." Tony Stark Went nuts because of the influence of a villain and had to be killed by his younger self, who took the older Stark's place. Captain America was dying and had to wear armor. Onslaught. Heroes Reborn. I just got sick of all the sh*tty storylines.

I have about 500 superman. And about 200 various others. I really got into collecting around the death of superman. I have most of the major storylines from then on. Any one read the death of clark kent. Other than the death of superman, this is my fav storyline. I thought conduit was a awesome villian. I also think it would make a great story for smallville. Considering the clark's spacecraft did cause kenny braverman to become conduit. And the way he was pissed clark beat him at everything in high school. It would fit perfectly into a smallville ep. To bad they killed him off for good in the last comic of that storyline.

I did a rough estimate today, I'd say I have at least 9,000, possibly even over 10,000 but not 100% sure yet. All sealed and housed in special foldres which rest in several bookshelves. As with Lana, I buy several issues a week, so the collection grows

Well, I took a look into my locker and did a rough estimate and I'd say I have.......hmmmmm......0!!!
 I would love to start reading them, but I don't know where to start!!! Plus, the first comic seller I know is at least 1 hour and a half from my home!!! Can you order them and get then shipped to you??? I just finished counting my comics for the first time in ages last night. Came out to 1.568 exactly. All Superman/related titles (Superboy, Supergirl, etc.) and Legion of Super-Heroes. I've got quite a few X-Men as well but never bothered to count them as I never read them anymore.

Superclark, I used to order comics through the mail from Joespeh Koch out of NYC and Mile High Comics out of Denver, Colorado through the mail. Both are huge outfits. I am sure that both companies have websites these days. You can trust them and they ship quickly

I used order comics from Mile High too, the one here in California! A get business. I never had one problem with them, never. And the shipping was excellent; the comics ALWAYS arrived in great condition.

I go to the comic store every Saturday and buy my comics. I like to browse the shop and see the issues on the shelf and grab them. That's part of the fun. Mail order is convenient but boring.
