I got the three-part movie adaptation a week or so ago. Not that it was flying off the rack, exactly. It seems they glossed over the major plot points, but it felt so forced. It's like they didn't even try to make this a decent comic. The art could be better, as well. Kind of a half-assed attempt. Surely they could've put better people on this.

Movie adaptations suck. It seems they get a mere outline of the movie and make a comic out of it. I bet it is a skeleton of what the movie will be.

The Batman adaptations all had great art, though, especially Ordway's on the first one. Even the Batman & Robin one was readable!

Yeah, that Ordway art for the first Batman one was AWESOME! But generally, I avoid comic/movie adaptations like the plague...

They're usually nothing but a forced tie in at best just to capitalize on a film. I DID enjoy the one for the first Batman though. All th Batman ones where good but only the first two had decent art. The BR adaptation art looked very cartoony but it had good likenesses to the actors...though they made Keaton WAY to big physically. The BF adaptation at least gives you a good idea of a more proper edit.

I remember one of the Bat-adaptations actually opened with a drawing of Joel calling for action on the set. Lame.
